If you know us at all, you know how much we enjoy reading. Broxton used to love it more, but has dwindled down lately (if you have any books / authors you recommend for a 6th grade boy, let me know!) We have so many books around the house, we could hold our own library. That actually was beneficial to us when COVID first hit, as our library was closed... School was closed... and there was no way to get books. Yes, I know they could get them on their tablets, but they are plugged in so much already, I did not want to go that route. Add to it, I love the feel / smell of a physical book so much more. I have yet to turn to the ways of reading on technology. So - I want to highlight some of the books we have... Some I may have shared on here before, some will be new. All will be great to read during the summer!

I have a book for each of my children that their teachers will sign in for them all the years they are in school and I will give it to them when they graduate. I am sentimental like you just do not know! I love this book and reading it again, I think that whenever anyone hosts a baby shower, they should give this book to the new mom and have everyone there sign it with well wishes for the baby! This might be a great book for a newborn, but it is a great reminder for everyone and I loved reading it to Savannah this morning as a great way to start our day!
The Press Release:
Two gorillas take such pride when they look into their newborn’s eyes, and wonder what path their future will take. Cordell’s book is a celebration of the hopes dreams that parents have for children as they grow up, and find that no matter where life may take them, they always have a home with their family.
With new life comes infinite possibility, and as a gorilla family delights in their young child, they dream of everything their baby will encounter and who he will become. Who will he be?
