***** Updated to make this a giveaway post! *****
Best Food for Your Baby and Toddler by Jeanette L. Bessinger with Tracee Yablon - Brenner is one of those books you do not really think you need, until you see it.
Well, that was what I thought...
I was able to review it and I am glad I did!
The book was broken down into three parts.
Part One - They Are What They Eat
Part Two - Feeding Your Child
Part Three- Real Food for Real Kids
As you can imagine, the first part of the book is filled with useful information about the eating habits!
You learn about the Obesity Epidemic, as well as Prevention.

You also learn about the "real food" versus S.A.D. food.
Part One also shares with us information about the basic nutritional information and the pros/cons of having a vegetarian child.
Whoa!
That is just part one!
(I told you, LOTS of information!)

You learn about breastfeeding, getting a good latch, the feeding stages are broken down into 4-6 month, 6-9 month and 9-12 month.
It also shares information about introducing the sippy cup, bibs and more.

Once again, it breaks it down with several points of great information.

It starts off with pointers on preparing your kitchen and pantry.
It also tells you the different cooking techniques.
For me, this was very helpful!
Now, are you ready?
The last bit of information in Part Three is tons of recipe ideas!

You can look it up based upon:

As of that isn't enough right there:
At the start of each recipe they tell you the serving breakdown for the recipe they give you.
(Such as: makes 16 toddler servings OR 9 adult servings)
At the end of each recipe, they have also included the Nutritional Information!

Great book to have in your home library!
I think that this would be a great book for a baby shower... or a welcome home gift when the new family leaves the hospital.
