It's Getting Hot In Here... Well, Everywhere Is Pretty Hot, Right?

What do you do to cool down in this heat?
I am telling you what.. It is hot as anything lately and I am so appreciative of my husband.
The other day, we had a friend call to see if Marc was working, or if he would be able to take Broxton to a ball game, you know.. Father / Son - Guy day...   Marc was working, so he couldn't go.. but we were talking about it being so hot that we didn't know if the game would really be fun anyways... and then it hit me..  My husband goes out and works in this every day to provide for our family...  That just makes me so proud of him!

So, getting to the heat..
We were lucky enough to try a few new frozen treats to help us beat the heat and I will tell you this..
 THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!!!!!!

With the Breyers Blasts, I am holding out until I see the Banana Split in stock.
Marc loves banana split ice cream, so I am hopeful that he will enjoy it.  Honestly, I think the blasts of other flavors mixed into the ice cream adds to it, I would so rather eat that than just a vanilla or a chocolate...
Then, you have Klondike, they have decided to treat us all and have introduces Choco Taco's... I am sure they are great and I know people love them, but that chocolate on chocolate ice cream sandwich?  Yep.. that is TOTALLY what I am talking about right there...
Broxton has been enjoying the Popsicle with the yogurt in them. I do not feel bad treating him to one of these... But I will tell you, the lady at the checkout counter acted like I was trying to trick him.  I had to tell him that he LOVES Popsicle and he LOVES yogurt, so this was a treat, not a trick.

All of us are obsessed with the Magnum Ice Cream Bars..
I am telling you, they are so great and I love the creaminess.. not to mention the luxurious taste when I am enjoying one.

Finally, Good Humor is making me smile and I am ready to dive into a York Peppermint Patty!
Breyers Blasts!, the line known for featuring fun mix-ins from the most loved candy and cookie brands has also added four new flavors including Chocolate REESE’S, Golden OREO, Cookies & Cream, OREO Birthday Blast! and Klondike Krunch. Banana Split and S’mores flavors are also available nationwide.
Klondike is taking their famous Original Choco Taco to the next level as they have introduces the  Chocolate and Peanut Butter varieties, as well as the new Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich.

MAGNUM, the world’s most luxurious ice cream bar, has introduced the Mini line of petite treats in Classic and Almond.  MAGNUM has also added two new varieties to its traditional-sized bars, which include Mint and Mochaccino.
Yosicle, which combines ice pops with combining ice pops and the smoothness of yogurt. Popsicle also partnered with SOUR PATCH KIDS to introduce fruity, candy-inspired pops that replicate the sour then sweet taste of the classic candy.
Good Humor has added to their classic candy treats after last year’s successful introduction of REESE’S Peanut Butter Ice Cream Cup.  They now offer Mounds and York Ice Cream Bars.

Yes, we had the honor to try these out... but after having the chance to review them, we have already been back to purchase more!  I know that with hot days still ahead, I want to try more of the Yosicles with Broxton.  My dad has been a die hard Popsicle fan as long as I can remember... EVERY SINGLE DAY, 2 sugar free Popsicle after he eats his lunch.  You can ask my brother and now, you can even ask Broxton.
Broxton's first Popsicle was with my dad and I am so glad to know that he can even enjoy them with the Yogurt in them now!

Head on over and stock up your freezer now!  What better treat after a day at the pool or a long hard day at school than a nice cool delight?!

  2. I have no problem with stocking up on all those goodies. Well I do, but I don't. Meaning if I had the money :) YUM!!

I love that your son and man has guy/son time. I've wanted to do this for awhile with the kids, but gosh I have them 24/7s! Oy.

  3. My kids have a homemade pudding pop to cool down. I've tested the recipe out on many more kids, they all seem to enjoy it.

    1 cup of almond milk
    1 box of soft tofu
1 box of your choice of pudding
    1 very rip banana

They don't even taste the tofu.

    I don't hear, "I'm hungry 5 min. later."
