Couple Book Selections Featuring #InsideOut from @DisneyHyperion

Summer break doesn't mean break from reading.  We still love books and of course, interest is more if it is a subject that brings excitement!   We were sent a couple books based on the new Disney Pixar movie, Inside Out.  We loved the movie, so I was excited to get the books!  I am sharing two today and will share two more tomorrow!  This would be great for summer reading, or to make a fun bag for road tripping! 

Inside Out - Sadly Ever After
 
This is a hard back book with pages full of colorful illustrations that are sure to grab your attention. Each page lets us follow Joy and Sadness as they understand why Sadness is such a big part of life. One thing I loved about this book is that the comment bubble for each character is in the color of their character, so you are sure to know who is saying what.  Broxton and I enjoyed this book and it was a great way to discuss feelings. 
 
Inside Out - Read Along Storybook and CD
 
This is a paperback book that is square in shape.  It comes with a CD in a plastic envelope on the inside front cover.  This introduces us to Riley as soon as she is born and then lets us meet each of the different emotions.  Of course, Joy was first and then the others follow behind.  The CD has sound effects and the voices from the movie!  What a great way to get kids into reading!  (This would be great for road trips this summer!)

    we haven't watched this movie but I suppose it might be good for the kids. And the books will be interesting as well..
