We have been watching this area develop not too terribly far from us.  At first it was a clearing, then they started building and working on a parking lot.  We saw that it was called SPROUTS and would be opening soon.  Of course that meant we wanted to check it out!!!
EVERY - SINGLE - TIME - we go by, the parking lot is PACKED, but we decided to brave it and go in anyways.  It was the most awesome place to us!!
They have a little of this and a little of that, lots of great prices and so much to choose from.
Best of all, it is healthy food!  (Yes, they do have candy and what not, but from what I could tell, it was mostly organic options.)

So, I was given an opportunity to review them and I was impressed.  (Marc is REALLY impressed, but I will get to that in a minute!)  When you walk up to the store, you notice they have a sign that says " No photography allowed" so, I am sorry... but there will be no more pictures in this post.

As you first walk in, you are greeted with the bread section.  Many options and a friend had mentioned they had great bread, so of course I grabbed a loaf of their sourdough.  DELICIOUS! (I might have made 1, 2 or several tomato sandwiches on that bread!)
They have a deli right there where you can get meat or can even get them to make you a sandwich.  Oh, did you know they make their own sausage and meats there?  Yep!  There is always a huge line there, so they must be doing something right!!!!
They have a great looking meat department, but we have not tried it out yet.  (Being at the end of my pregnancy, I am not a fan of hanging near the meat section.)

We walked up and down all the aisles and I was really impressed with the price of their produce. Marc ended up grabbing some tomatoes for us and they were fantastic... So much so that he seems to only want to buy our tomatoes from there these days (even if it is about 15 minutes away, versus closer options.)

As I mentioned, they do have candy... as in a big section where you purchase by the pound.  Our house may or may not be obsessed with the chocolate covered honeycomb or the chocolate covered almonds.  (You can grab a free sample at the store if you are unsure about it.)

The main kicker for us?  Their meals that are ready to go!
Marc takes his food to work most days and he has been grabbing these to take instead of some random frozen meals.  They are perfectly portioned and he has yet to find one that he doesn't like.  I made a comment about them being great for him and Broxton to eat when I have the baby, so I don't have to worry about them starving...  Broxton is IN LOVE with their spaghetti.  (I can't make it right now, as spaghetti sauce is NOT my friend, this way they get to eat it and I don't have to cook!)   Marc commented that their chicken fettuccine was disgusting...  Then I learned he was trying to trick me into not eating it... Too bad for him, I tried one and I am already in the mood for another.  Great flavor and as I said, a good amount!

If you live in or near ROSWELL, Georgia, you are in luck!!!

  4. We don't have a Sprouts anywhere around here. We do have a Whole Foods, it would be fun to compare. I'm amazed they don't allow photographs!! Sounds exciting!
