I know sometimes it is so hard for me to figure out what to get my dad.. Marc as well... So, I hope to trigger a thought or two for you in the next couple days as to great Father's Day gifts!!! I was originally going to run a review for Mother's Day on See's Candies ... but then I learned that See's Candies made the daddy in this house a VERY HAPPY MAN... So, that being said... It is part of my Father's Day reviews... I was not really familiar with all that See's Candies had to offer, but I had noticed that my sister had mentioned it on facebook a couple times... and then this past Christmas, we ha...

Broxton had seen the commercials about it and had been asking, so we decided to surprise him with a treat to go there.  He was so excited and was eager to take his picture in front as soon as we walked up to the building!!!! Getting ready to head inside!   The reason we were given the chance to go was to share with you a new app that is now available. It is the Take a Snapshot with Chuck E. App.  You are told about it as soon as you walk in.  (No, it is not forced down your throat from the staff, but they do have advertising for it as soon as you open the door.)  The App is FREE and it is pretty neat.  Throu...

If you have been around here before, you might know that I love, no make that LOVE , Nicholas Sparks.  I honestly have EVERY book he has ever written.  I love reading each one and can not wait to get my hands on the next one as soon as it becomes available. My love of all Nicholas Sparks does not end with his books, I also love the movies. Yes, I think I cry at each of them, as if I had NO CLUE what was going to happen.  That was what happened when I watched Safe Haven the other night.   I was so excited to watch it, as I loved the book... and I think that Josh Duhamel is a pretty good actor.   I will tell you though, since it had been a while since I read it, it took me a few m...

So I was so excited to give him the opportunity. I tell you, it was crazy!!! We got there about 9:50 (the store opened at 10 am)  and there was already a line.  It was pretty cool though, they had a school group that was there beforehand making bears to give to other kids...   So, I waited out front with everyone else as we prepared for the ribbon cutting ceremony.    The BA...

Oh, and did I mention that my brother grabbed this little ol' thing called a "MASTERS DEGREE?!" Well, between all of that... We were sent a new DVD for Broxton to watch. I try to let him come home and unwind from school with a little down time and what better way than Team UmiZoomi?  I love the UmiZoomi's as they teach ... not just entertain!!!!  Broxton loves watching them too and asks for them over and over again.  I remember growing up and hating some of my classes, I would always think "what do I need to learn this for?  I will never use it... "  and that was mostly for s...

So, after you make your special friend... You just have a few more things to do before you are ready to take it home. Broxton and ...

Broxton loves the candy, Ring Pop.  His teacher gave him one as his treat for learning his Bible Verse once and he was so excited over it... It amazes me the smile on his face with this treat!  Well, we recently learned that Ring Pop has expanded for a greater reach.... Now, they offer MY RING POP .  A site where you can personalize/customize the ring pop to have a wrapper say something special just for the occasion.  You could have it say :"Great Job!" with the teachers name... or maybe "Thanks for celebrating" and give them as favors for a party... On their site, they showed brides to be using this to ask their friends to be bridesmaids...   With the My Ring Pop site, you can order from 25-...
