Adding to your little ones library? Bob Books Review and Giveaway

If you have been around my blog at all, you might notice that I love to read...
and I really want to pass along my love of reading to Broxton.

So far, we are doing great!
We make sure to read fun books and whenever he wants to read, we stop and read!
He loves sitting in my lap and us looking at the pictures, talking about the illustrations and what we are reading.

I have heard great things about the company, Bob Books and knowing me...
I had to head over and check them out!

Have you heard of them before?
Bob Books was first introduced over 35 years ago and they must be doing something right, as they are still popular today!
First of all, Bobs Books are sets of books that go along with the different stages in your childs reading.

Bob Books were developed as a step-by-step program to guide your child gently through the early stages of reading. Each level addresses a stage in a child's reading development.
This carefully crafted, simple, and progressive approach to learning assures children success and confidence from their very earliest reading experience.

We have been reviewing two of the Bob Books sets.
So far, we have both really enjoyed them.

I think that the simplicity of the books helps for younger children.
For the most part, the pictures in the book are just stick figurish drawings with one color on it.
To me, the simple drawings allow for the child to focus more on the writing and less on getting carried away in the illustrations.

The Bob Books are small little paper back books that fit nicely in their box.
I like how they have each book numbered on the outside and that they are well contained for easy travel and clean up.

We started out with the Pre-Reading Skills set...
Learning with Sally, Seth and Tanner.
My favorite though has been the Alphabet books.
With them, we have been able to focus more on teaching the letters with the sounds that go along with it...
Broxton has been doing very good with this, yes...
We still have a bit of trouble remembering some of the letters, but for the most part...
He is doing great!
Sounding them out:
