I want to go to Italy, but until then... Terra Dolce Review

Italian for Sweet Earth, Terra Dolce seems to just sweep you away on a relaxing vacation...

In the sanctity of your own home!

I was visiting the Terra Dolce website and I have to say, each and every single one of their products were just begging me to slip away to peaceful relaxation!

Just listen to the names of the different collections they carry:

Barefoot Contessa:

Beautiful & Barefoot ..sweet scent of summer florals & fresh grass Travel to this special region of the world with every application! Rather special floral, fresh & sweetly captivating scent.

Grecian Blue:
In Greece the juniperberry takes two or three years to ripen, turning the berry from green to a beautiful blue. A rich, crisp, earthy wood sweet scented silk lotion taking you back to ancient times.
Floridian:

An orchard of citrus by the ocean....if you listen, you can hear the gem colored waves crashing on the shore! Florida is known as the Orange State. This entire scent is dedicated to The Floridian. Combining rich vitamin C sweet orange, grapefruit and anti-oxidents loving five fold orange.

Midnight Champagne:
A warm summer nights breeze gives way to the seductive scent of warm vanilla & floral filled aroma of French lavender fields. Its a dance under the moon lit stars you'll want to experience over and over again!

Tuscan Sunrise:
This body butter goes all out to hydrate dry skin, transporting your body to a beautiful summer sunrise in Tuscany. A little goes a long way in with this 8oz body butter.

I was able to review the Grecian Blue Body Butter.

I was so excited to try this out, as I am always looking for ways to make my skin moisturized and of course, I like to smell good too!
I will tell you, this is not your average body butter!
This stuff is THICK.

It says to apply in small amounts and let your skin absorb it.

Well, it isn't like lotion where you just pour it on and rub it in...

You just put a dab and rub...

It makes me think that it belongs in a spa, like having someone else massage it in!!!!
Don't get me wrong...

I love it, thick and all!

We also were able to review the Basil Spearmint Soap.

Now, me with my NO COOKING...

I was a bit put off about the "basil" in the name...

Not sure what it would smell like, I was wondering how this would work...

Ummm
AWESOME!
I am not sure what impressed me the most on the soap...

Was it the packaging?
(It was wrapped in paper with cute designs cut into it... All presented nicely with a beautiful blue ribbon around it! This would be beautiful in a gift basket!)
Or was it the smell?

It was not a KNOCK you out scent...

but you could smell it.

Once I was in the shower, it lathered up nicely and left my skin feeling moisturized and refreshed!

Of course, I had to come read about the basil/spearmint combination:
SPEARMINT: Stimulates a tired mind. Relieves pruritus itching and helps with acne, dermatitis, congested skin
BASIL: Moisturizing. Stimulant. Soothes stress, depression, and mental fatigue.

Works great for me!!!!
