Aloha Friday - Lemonade?
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
My question:
Did you have a lemonade stand when you were a child?
My answer:
I do not think I did... So, mom... Did I?!
Nope! It's not something kids do over here on our side of the pond. Lemons are expensive here!! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteWe had a squash stand on my grandparents farm. We didn't sell many.
ReplyDeleteNope! We lived on many acres down a LONG dirt road with the next house being my grandma's - no one to sell to! :) HOWEVER, I remember my baby sister sitting out in the front yard trying to sell...wait for it....WATER! LOL, there isn't a person around, so we had to go buy water from her.
ReplyDeleteYes, I did with my brothers and sister.
ReplyDeleteI think my friend and I had a lemonade stand once while her mom was having a yard sale.
ReplyDeleteWe sold Popsicles on hot days and made a mint!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Friday!

ReplyDeleteYes, I did. Though it wasn't successful it was still loads of fun! A great things for kids to do in the summer!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I ever did. I did have lots of bake sales though.
ReplyDeleteHere's My Question
No but my kids love doing that during the summer! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think they do this in my country :) So no. As a child I did not have one.
ReplyDeleteI like the business idea though.
Aloha!

ReplyDeleteI think I was going to once and then I spilled the lemonade and it was all over LOL
ReplyDeleteI never did but my kids keep asking to have one. I just think they wouldn't have much customers in our neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteNo I never had one.
