Just A Bit Crazy....

Hope all is well with each of you...
Life has been a bit hectic and crazy here, so I apologize for not posting over the weekend...

We had Marc's family in town a bit ago..  It was wonderful!   His sister, her two kids, his dad and another niece came...Not to mention the boys were here...

It was quite nice, we just visited and hung out the first night...
Then, the next morning, we were off to Chattanooga.  Marc is IN LOVE with that city and we had been talking about how his family needed to come and check it out..   So, we loaded up and headed to spend the morning there...  It was the day that the temp was reading 111.  Yes, it was hot.. but surprisingly, we enjoyed ourselves and got in the air conditioned car before it was miserable!  (I will be posting the pictures from there soon...)  We eventually headed back to Atlanta for the tweens/teens to hang out at the pool and then just hung out for the night... The next morning they were headed back to Louisiana, so we wanted to make sure everyone was rested and that we had plenty of time to visit!  We did decide to just go to Burger King instead of a restaurant so that the kids could burn off energy!  It was a nice visit.. We had not seen Marc's sister and dad since our wedding and had never met the nieces and nephews, so the cousins had fun too!

With the weekend full of fun and then getting the boys home and swapping cars, the week was rushed too..
But then, there was a break.. for a minute... Until my brother came to bring Broxton's "big boy bed"  We ended up going over to my cousins house for burgers and Broxton got to swim with her daughters... Then, we headed home to work on the bed.. Well, I say "we" but actually "I" worked on trying to watch THE GLADES and ARMY WIVES... while "they" worked on the bed...

Since I don't want to leave you without a picture in this post...
Here is Broxton getting a bath...
DO you or DID you ever do their hair like that when your little ones got a bath?

  1. He's so cute, and yes, of course I spiked their hair. It's our right as parents to make them look silly for our own entertainment. :)

  2. When you go to Chattanooga again, let us know. It won't be that far from us. :)
