Outdoor Fun - Rose Art Sidewalk Chalk

We love sidewalk chalk here...
It is fun.  It gets us outside. 
It allows for creativity!
I was given the opportunity to try out the Rose Art Surprise Inside Sidewalk Chalk and Broxton was SO EXCITED to try it out!!!
The one we were sent was in the shape of a flower.
Each petal had a different color of sidewalk chalk...
The middle part of the flower was also the place where the surprise was left!  

Broxton kept trying to figure out what he had to do to get the walker ready...
We colored with all of them, but settled on the white one, as it was where the surprise was!!!

He worked and worked.. Since we were both going to be surprised, I was fine letting him have a blast with the chalk... even if it did mean getting dirty!
After a bit, we saw this sliver of plastic inside..
Then, he gave up on trying to use the chalk, as temptation was too much and he really wanted the toy.
He finally started trying to break it... and what was inside?
An adorable little plastic toy butterfly!!!
He was so happy and wanted to take it to church.

    Our granddaughter decorates our sidewalk with sidewalk chalk. I love the idea of the prize inside.

    How fun! I've seen soap with something inside, but never chalk. Tomorrow I'm putting up all the photos of our caterpillars, to the Chrysalis and finally to being a butterfly.

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.) Finally, he gets to brush them a final minute (no toothpaste.) The system is working and his teeth are clean! During the day, when he wants to brush them.. He can, but with no toothpaste. As we all know, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to take the temperature of a sick child. Hey, some adults are known to be big babies... The longer they have to wait, the fussier they become. Well, with the Exergen Temporal Scanner ... Wait is something that can be eliminated! Why do I say that? Just because the wait is merely 2 seconds!
