I Want My Mommy

So, I wake up with a sore throat...
I did not really think much about it, since when the weather starts doing the hot/cool days... I most always catch a quick cold.  Not to mention, Broxton is back in school and I helped with AWANA.. so we have been around plenty of kids (Broxton had a small cough too)
Then, the next day.. It got a bit worse...
I googled home remedies and made up a concoction of honey, garlic and cayenne pepper...
Sounds NASTY... not great, but I did keep it down... I will say it did bring relief for a bit...

Day three, I was dying... I told Marc I just knew I would feel better if I cut a few slits in my face to let the pressure in my sinus cavities have a way to escape... I tell you... it was bad...  Miserably bad...
Finally, I could not take it anymore... I did not want to get anyone else sick...
So, I sucked it up and headed to the doctor...


Not pictured : My ear drops (as I have been on them already and they were not near the new medical supply!)     Yes, seems like I have a mini pharmacy here...  
I hope to be feeling better soon... Don't they say you feel worse before you get better?
Hope that is the case...

    Girl I know what you feel. I was just feeling that way. I just wanted to remove my head for awhile.

    Oh no! I do hope you get better soon. That's horrible being sick this time of year.

    I've been so stuffy from allergies. I hate adding nasal sprays because they have steroids in them. But I started using them again.

    Isaak and Travis woke up sneezing. Travis up to this point hasn't had allergies. We'll see. Isaak said he didn't need the netti pot. I made him do it anyhow. I got so much out of him! I'm glad I made him do it.
