We have loved working with Free Spirit Publishing and with that, we have several books by Elizabeth Verdick... (Toddler Tools and Best Behavior Series) Well, Elizabeth has done it again!!! She has recently released The Happy Healthy Baby Series!!
(The current deal is to buy all 4 books for $25.16. I am not sure how long this will last, so you might want to grab them now for a baby gift down the road!)
Up first?
Books 1 & 2 : Move and Cuddle.
Books 1 & 2 : Move and Cuddle.
Both of these books are just adorable.
With Move, it goes through the different movements of the little ones... From scooting to climbing... I love the way Elizabeth decided to go with this book... On each two page spread, you have a pattern. One page is an illustrated colorful page with the simple text: (Example: Push, Baby, Push!) But then the opposite page is an ABSOLUTELY Adorable black and white photo of a sweet little baby.
In Cuddle, we are greeted again with these cute babies...
One page with simple text with colorful background / illustration... and the other with a sweet black and white photo. Check out the photo on "Smooch, Baby, Smooch" It doesn't get much sweeter, does it?
At the end of the book, as with all of her books, she has a Parent / Care Provider section with tips to help with the little one. I think that this would be a great gift to give a mommy to be...This would be great for their older siblings to read to them and see how they can interact. This would also make great books to go in pediatrician offices, if you ask me!!!
Stay tuned for books 3 and 4 to be posted soon!!!
This sounds like a great book series! I am always looking for new, cute books to give as gifts to my young nephews! Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteI won a series of books from them once. The boys loved them. When they seemed to outgrow them, I donated them to the preschool Isaak and Mica both had went to.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a great baby shower gift idea, I totally agree.
