I can say that we have been pretty busy this summer, so we have not had much time to settle down and watch TV. Once things calm down though, we have a few new DVD's from Nickelodeon to check out... Legend of Korra being one that looks geared to the older boys... I am not familiar AT ALL with this...

About The Legend of Korra – Book Two: Spirits:
From the creators of the beloved animated franchise Avatar: The Last Airbender comes The Legend of Korra. Complicating factors is the sudden appearance of mysterious Dark Spirits who are attacking the Southern Water Tribe people and Korra learns that even her Avatar State cannot defeat them. I think you are right when you say that this is probably geared more for the "rough and tumble" set. I've never heard of it either. But kid you not, it looks like stuff my son (25) and hubby watch now! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI would not doubt it :)
DeleteSo many of the animated cartoons are geared for older "kids" now
I laughed at Robin's comment. I bet my older boys have heard of it and like it. :) They're both grown. ;)
