It is getting closer to time for our baby to arrive, so that means I am at least thinking about packing a bag to take to the hospital.  I know I need to get my things in order, but I am a bit of a procrastinator when it comes to packing.  (I think I get it from my mom, she packs morning of the trip... I am not that bad, yet!)
Anyways, I asked a few friends what they thought were must have items and I got ideas like suckers, lip balm and more... One thing I didn't think of, because we have it in almost every room?  Lotion!

Yes!!!!   Being that I have worked with Vaseline for what feels like a million years now, I knew that would be the lotion of choice!
Lucky for me, they have a new (to me) product, so I wanted to check it out.

I was sent the Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Relief Healing Serum.  This stuff feels so good and it smells amazing!  I am not sure the scent, but I like it!  It isn't overpowering, but it is subtle enough that it leaves me sniffing my hands to get an extra whiff!   (Hey, gotta be honest!)

Moisturizes to heal and calms severely dry skin
Gentle on skin
Dermatologist tested
Soft scents of rose and amber
Non-greasy formula
BEST FOR: DRY SKIN, CRACKED SKIN

After a few days at the pool, we had a few of us with a bit of sunburn, so I was pretty excited to see that we also had a new supply of the
Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Spray! I love this since it is so easy to use... Not to mention when you are pregnant, it is hard to maneuver and reach all the different spots, so this is perfect to spray and help you out!!!!

Moisturizes and absorbs in seconds to help heal dry skin
Dispenses evenly with one all-over spray
Instantly leaves skin soft, not greasy or sticky
Contains micro-droplets of Vaseline® Jelly
BEST FOR: DRY SKIN

Finally, we were sent a nice new jar of Vaseline Jelly.  I like keeping this on hand during the winter, so it is great to go ahead and stock up now!   (Works great on your lips too!)

Protects and locks in moisture to help dry skin heal
100% pure petroleum jelly. Triple-purified. Purity guaranteed
Gentle on your skin, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores)
Reduces the appearance of fine, dry lines
Helps protect minor cuts, scrapes and burns
Protects your skin from windburn and chapping
Recognized by the National Eczema Association
BEST FOR: DRY SKIN, DRY ITCHY SKIN, DRYNESS ASSOCIATED WITH ECZEMA

I can't be having dry skin when it is time to love on this sweet new baby headed our way, so I need to actually stock up on more of the Vaseline lotions.  Out of all that I have tried, I think the Healing Serum is my favorite and Marc loves the lotions.  Seriously, I think we have a bottle or a spray can in almost every room of our house.  You never know when you will feel like you have really dry skin and need to hydrate!!!!

What is a must have you packed, or something that you wished you would have packed in your hospital bag?

  1. I love using Vaseline Intensive care lotion. I like their Cocoa Butter lotion but would love to try the healing serum. I always have to have lotion and lip balm.

  4. I would definitely want to try the Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Spray. If the kids got a little too much sun, this would be perfect. Also, I use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly for everything. I always have one of these in my bag.

  5. I use Vaseline products all the time. I'm sensitive to so many yet not any of Vaseline. And they work great, too!
