Aloha Friday - # 62


Whew!
Almost forgot about Aloha Friday with yesterday being Thanksgiving!!!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

    I have not gone out in years. My SIL asked me to go out with her a bit later this morning. She did the driving and it was fine with me. We went to LL Bean and Sears for a few items she wanted. Then we went to Target. I got some flannel sheets for $13.99. The only item I wish I had gotten were some DS and iXL games, and the Toy Story 3 deal, but we missed those.

    We got 96 count diapers for $10.....got 3 boxes of those. We also got baby #2's crib, changing table and pad and some storage baskets. Buy 1 get 1 bouncy balls for Ryan, Geotrax plane set for Ryanfor $25, fryer for me and Sean for $12, movies for $4-5 and we got gift cards for fam members and saved like $50. :) So yah good deals. :)

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.) Finally, he gets to brush them a final minute (no toothpaste.) The system is working and his teeth are clean! During the day, when he wants to brush them.. He can, but with no toothpaste. As we all know, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to take the temperature of a sick child. Hey, some adults are known to be big babies... The longer they have to wait, the fussier they become. Well, with the Exergen Temporal Scanner ... Wait is something that can be eliminated! Why do I say that? Just because the wait is merely 2 seconds! During that time, you will already be finished a gift giveaway blog hop, exergen temporal scanner, mom must have, R nd moving on to something else. I really like the ease of the Exergen Thermometer. It has a soft tip on it that you gently swipe across the forehead of your "patient." There are two things that make this stand out compared to others that I have used.
