I love Newman's Own Organics - Review

I enjoy Paul Newman's salad dressing... and I think it all started because of his charitable donations... and because he seemed like a great person.

Well, Paul Newman's daughter, Nell, wanted to branch out from Newman's Own with an organic line... and branch out she did! Nell and her business partner, Peter started up Newman's Own Organics in 1993 as a division of her fathers company. In 2001 Newman's Own Organics became its own separate company!

I hate to admit, but I had never heard of "Newman's Own Organics" until recently.

Well, you know me...

I wanted to see the big fuss!

I love food, but "organic" just does not interest me ... in the least!

Not to be mean... but I thought organic just meant healthy/good for you... but NASTY!
LoL, not any more!
I am a changed woman!!!!

I was so very fortunate to be on the receiving end of a humongous box full of Newman's Own Organic products! I was a bit shocked that they sent so much... but we are so lucky that they did!!!!
Of course with Marc, he was skeptical to try it...

Just the thought of "organic" had him questioning if there was anything in there that he might even attempt to try!

Well, try he did!!!

He and Broxton opened the Pretzels to give them a try...

and they must have liked them, seeing as though there are no more in the house!!!!!
Baked, not fried... these will be around more than chips!

I wanted to try the Soy Crisps. You know, there are times when you just want something to snack on... These Soy Crisps were wonderful!!!! The Barbeque soy crisps were a great replacement to potato chips! The Cinnamon ones help with the urge of something sweet, but the Barbeque are by far my favorite!!!!

I was curious as to how the Fig Newman's would be...
I used to love the other brands in the past...

and I am not quite sure why I stopped buying them...

These Fig Newman's are LOW FAT and are SO GOOD!
(Even Broxton enjoys them!)

Newman's Own Organics also makes a soft cookie that they call Hermits.

The ones we opened (so far) are the Cinnamon flavored.
I did not care for them, but that was because they had raisins in them!
Not a fan of raisins, never have been... that I know of.

Broxton enjoys these and likes sticking his finger in it (to make them stick to the tips) and then eats them this way! Silly boy!

Newman's Own Organics has another cookie, the Newman O's.

The first ones we opened are the peanut butter filled ones!
Talk about yummy!
Surprisingly, Broxton took them apart, ate the peanut butter filling...

and then ate the chocolate cookie part!
They also make them cream filled, as well as chocolate filled!
Can not WAIT to dive into the chocolate filled ones!

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you about yet another cookie...

The good old Champion Chip Cookie!
Talk about YUMMY!
They have six varieties...
We dug into the double chocolate mint chips and the orange chocolate chip.

As mom said about the orange chocolate chip...

Well, that is an unusual combination...

OH MY GOODNESS!
They were delicious!!!!
They might have taken over the classic chocolate chip in my opinion!!!!

Now, for my favorite................

Their chocolate bars!

Oh. My. Goodness.

I had to eat the Mocha Milk Chocolate...
I was worried Marc would get it first! :)
It was worth it!
It was as though the chocolate melted in my mouth.

That. Good.

I wish that they had more Milk Chocolate flavors...

as I am not really a fan of Dark Chocolate.

(Marc is though, so he is in luck)

I need to start liking Dark Chocolate more...

as I heard it is better for you than Milk Chocolate.

I mean, if I am going to eat it, I could at least try for the better alternative!

These are packaged so nice that they would make a great gift for the chocolate lover in your life.

Speaking of a nice gift... They even sell mints in cute little tins...

Talk about a great stocking stuffer! ( I carry mine in my purse!)

Need to have fresh breath!!!

With the holidays getting closer and closer, I think that Newman's Own Organic would be a great replacement to some of the other options that normally stock the pantry.
