Along Came You #HolidayGiftGuide



Although this book is about the love between a mom and her daughter, it totally relates to Broxton and I. I loved reading it to him and he loved listening... as well as looking at the beautiful pictures. Along Came You is a book of love! It shows how even the littlest one can bring so much change... Good change... It is such a true book!

The very first page:
"Before you, my home was decorated in style.
After you, my home is decorated in love."

The illustration shows a home...
You know, the little girl making artwork for her mom.
Mom hanging even more pictures on the fridge.
Mr. Potato Head on the table and magnets (don't all kids LOVE magnets) all over the place, one even spells out I LOVE MOMMY!

As I said, this book is so true!
You never realize just how much your life is going to change once you become a parent.
For me, it has been wonderful, every thing is so new to him.
We teach. We learn. We play. We laugh. We read. We draw.

Another page discusses breakfast time now!
Ha ha ha!
She says she used to eat alone..
Now, they always have guests!
(The illustration shows the little girl with her play animals!)

I think that this is a great book, for both little boys and girls!!!
We read it and of course we discussed each page.. Talking about how true it is that Broxton has brought so much change... and love into our house!!!

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.) Finally, he gets to brush them a final minute (no toothpaste.) The system is working and his teeth are clean! During the day, when he wants to brush them.. He can, but with no toothpaste.
