Universal Children's Day is Nov. 20th
Universal Children’s Day is November 20, 2011, and Pocoyo is supporting UNICEF’s mission to raise global awareness for Children’s Rights.
Pocoyo and his friends teach us about children’s rights via FREE online videos, an activity book, screensaver, and special wallpapers to share with your friends.
The United Nations’ Universal Children’s Day was established in 1954, and is celebrated on November 20 each year to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide. UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, promotes and coordinates this special day, which also works towards improving children’s welfare.
As a partner, Zinkia Entertainment’s Pocoyo will help educate millions of children and adults about the protection of children worldwide. As part of the campaign, Pocoyo will be featured in eight specially produced Public Service Announcement’s to promote the basic rights for and protection of children all over the world with themes including family, identity, equality, play, participation, health and education.
