Tablet? iPad? Advice Please... Aloha Friday
I know that Aloha Friday is a day to take it easy... and to ask a simple question...
But, this time... I need advice...
Marc and I have been trying for MONTHS now to figure out what tablet is best...
Top it off, tablet or ipad? There is just so MUCH out there now...
I hear different things about each...
The main drawback on ipads?
No usb and not able to access all sites...
Main drawbacks on tablets?
Not ipads....
So----------
My question this week:
What do you recommend?
iPad or tablet? Why?
Any and all advice is GREATLY appreciated!
We picked up a Samsung tablet but my friend has an iPad. I think there are a few more bells and whistles on the iPad but a regular tablet does all the basic stuff you need. There are also vehicle mount kits so you can take it with you for maps and other stuff on the road. It is really handy to have around.
ReplyDeleteHonestly! I would want a laptop. I have have an iPad and miss the keyboard. Yes, I know I could buy one, but I haven't.
ReplyDeleteGreat question!! I have been wondering if I should purchase one for an online business I own and which one would better serve my needs. Since I am not tech savvy, I will be following this conversation to see what advice you receive.
ReplyDeleteBoth the hubby and I have Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 - we're Android people vs. iPad people. ;) Since we have Android phones, it made sense for us to go with Samsung since we were familiar with how to actually use it. :)
ReplyDeleteFour Years
I have no clue. I just have a Kindle Fire. I would suggest going to a store where you could play around with them.
ReplyDeleteI have an iPad but just for wifi... the kindle has a new Kindle fire HD 4G lte that has an 8.9" screen and a ONE time fee for the 4G service that I probably would look into if I were purchasing one right now!!
ReplyDeleteJust write down the pros and cons for either and then see which one you both lean towards most.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea. I don't have either. Well I have nook.
But I'd prefer a sleek laptop.
No clue. I don't have either. Good luck with that, and then you can let me know! ~snicker-snicker~
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with Tablets but we do have two iPads and LOVE them. ;) Happy Aloha Friday!!
ReplyDeleteI want an iPad :) I find I am usually disappointed with other brands devices.
ReplyDeleteI personally like the ipad. The family I babysit for lets me use theirs and it just seems easier and more convenient than a tablet. The ipad is obviously for use with itunes which means all your apps are in one place and generally trusted material and easy to get. They also just seem more user friendly :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have either one but I think if I was in the market for one, I'd go with Apple. They seem to have all the bells and whistles.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Friday and Weekend!
It really depends on what you are going to use it for.
ReplyDeleteI love my tablet for when I travel. My kids use ipads for about everything.
Have a great Aloha Friday!

ReplyDeletecome over and see what we asked at http://shopannies.blogspot.com/2012/09/what-should-i-give-prince-and-princess.html
My techno savvy son recommends ipad - he says it has a superior operating system!
ReplyDeleteI have a Kindle Fire and I love it and have zero desire to have an iPad (unless of course, I won one or one was handed to me LOL) I can read blogs, read books, check Facebook and twitter, watch movies, play games etc etc - all the things I would want to do on an iPad or tablet, but for a fraction of the cost.
