Get Rid of the Headache with @HeadCoolie
Have you ever had a headache? What about a fever?
If so... (or if you are that lucky to not know what I am talking about, but know someone that does) please keep reading!
We were sent a Head Coolie for review and this is pretty neat!
It is like a headband.. that has a little mesh backing on it.. with Velcro to hold the mesh to the front.
Well, the reason there is Velcro and all is there is an gel pack that you put in there.
The pack is pretty thin, so it doesn't need too terribly long in the freezer to chill.
(The pack reminds me of those popsicles that everyone has probably tried at least once in their life.)
The other day, I noticed Marc had a headache. (He hold whatever he is drinking to his head to get the cool to help his headache.) So, I went and grabbed the Head Coolie. I put it on his head and he laid there for a while and it appeared as though it helped to ease his headache.
We have not used it for fevers yet... but if it can help with a headache, I am happy with that!!!
Two more added bonus perks for me:
It is washable, so no worries if it gets dirty or sweaty.
Also, you can wear it on your forehead to eliminate headaches...or you can use it around your neck to help cool you down! With us living in Georgia, I see me using it around my neck during the hot summers we have!
Make sure to follow Head Coolie on Facebook and Twitter.

What a great idea! So many times I've used ice packs but they melt all over and you have to hold them to your head the whole time - which is the last thing you want to do when you have a headache! I get lots of headaches, I will have to put one of these on my Christmas list!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get this for my Dad for Christmas! He always gets awful headaches and I'm hoping this would help! Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteMy husband has been using something like this for his back. I need one for my head during allergy season. I get really bad mirgrains then!
ReplyDeleteI think my husband should try this. He gets headaches often.
