Summertime means HOT! HOT! HOT!  (Even more so when you are pregnant, at least I feel that way!)  Growing up, we had these frozen lemon treats, I have no clue where they came from... but they sure enough hit the spot.  So, when I was given a chance to check out the Real Italian Ice from Luigi's, I was so excited... especially when I saw they had LEMON!!!!

As Broxton would say, delicious!  It hit the spot each time I needed a little cool me down moment!
Now, we have not tried all the flavors yet, but I feel pretty confident that they are sure to have a flavor to satisfy your tastebuds!!!  They carry flavors like cotton candy, watermelon, blueberry and even fudge!!!  WOW!!!

Just a fun fact for you...
Did you know that Luigi's first came out in 1978?
1989 brought Luigi's to supermarkets.

  1. I've always wanted to check out their products. I never seem to see them here in Nebraska.

  2. Their website says that they are available at HyVee, I should go there to get some. I never go to the same grocery store. I shop all over the place.

  3. I have tried the Lemon flavor before and we really like it. I have not seen these other flavors. It's nice they have some with no sugar added.

  4. I have not tried this yet. Sounds good.

  5. Our store carries at least three brands of Italian ice, but (after trying the otheres) we only buy Luigi's. I'd like to try the other flavors, but the rest of my family is all about the lemon!
