When you have a house full of boys, it is great to load up and take them to a buffet from time to time.  They get to eat any and all that they want, I don't have to cook, nor do I have to clean!  Recently we were invited to go check out the local Ryan's Buffet and now one lucky reader will have the chance to win 2 meal passes to go and check it out as well.  The good thing is that there are places all over, so this is not just a local Atlanta giveaway!   Ryans is part of the Ovation Brands (Ryan’s, Hometown Buffet and Old Country Buffet) so I hope there is one near you.
If you are military, they offer discounts on Mondays.  Make sure to ask what the discount is for your local establishment.  

The great thing about Ryans?  You can make the salad you want!  They have a mix of greens to choose from and then a wide variety of toppings.  Broxton knew what he wanted on his salad, so it was great to be able to go over and make one right there for him!   
If you are one that likes the mixed salads, they have an area for that as well. This location had items such as seafood salad, cucumber salad, broccoli salad and more.  
As I said, buffets are great options since there is such a wide variety of food to choose from.  You can go for home cooked favorite like fried chicken, broccoli with cheese on top and more. They even had a taco section!   
Not just for southern style like fried chicken, they also had pizza, spaghetti and more!  
Once you have filled up on all the food you want, if you have room, they have a dessert station too!  From cheesecake to carrot cake, cookies or soft serve ice cream.  You can surely find something to help with your sweet tooth!

    We are a big fan of Ryan's.. there's one about 45 minutes away. We celebrate Thanksgiving the weekend before with my family, so hubby, kids, and I usually go to Ryans for Thanksgiving dinner.. all the favorites in one place with easy clean up! =)

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.) Finally, he gets to brush them a final minute (no toothpaste.) The system is working and his teeth are clean! During the day, when he wants to brush them.. He can, but with no toothpaste. Well, with the Exergen Temporal Scanner ... Wait is something that can be eliminated! Why do I say that? Just because the wait is merely 2 seconds!
