Time Management Helps To Achieve Academic Success - Order Out of Chaos Academic Planner Review

School is a time for education, but also for fun... I think that if you spend ALL of your time stressing academics, you will miss out on life lessons that you might need down the road.  I remember when I was in school, I would get a planner to try and help me with the school year.  From trying to remember my work schedule to my school schedule to chorus practice and so on and so forth.
I think that a nice well developed planner is a great tool that will help you more than you ever know!
That being said, I was so excited to get a planner to review and share with you from Order Out of Chaos.
But, this isn't just any planner...
It is a planner that really has room for everything!
First of all, I love that it is a nice size.  (8 1/2 by 11 on the overall cover, but the inside actual PLANNER pages are 7x11)  The reason the cover is larger?  So that you can write your class schedule on the outside and have it line up with the inside for slots to help you plan for time management.
I LOVE that their is a month at a glance to begin with.
That was always a key part, to plan to see what is going on and what not.
Now, let me tell you more about the planner and what sets it apart from others.
You open it up and there is the basic information area, you know... name/school/address (in case you some how lose it and someone is nice enough to return it to you.)
You then have the month at a glance calender and a page for any "notes" you may have for the upcoming month.  That is nice to try and plan accordingly!
Then, you turn the page and it has each day in a column (that lines up to the school schedule that you wrote down to begin with at the start of the planner.)
Each subject has its own area to write notes that relate to that subject.
(Project due, test date, homework...)
Also in each section is a small grey box for you to check off when you have completed  your to-do list!
BUT - AT THE END OF THE COLUMN you have a smaller space for 3-9 P.M.
(After school activities, work schedule, study sessions or anything else that you might have planned for that particular time frame.  WRITE IT DOWN!)
You also have an area to write down any weekend activities.
(Parties, School Games, Events)
This planner starts August 2012 and ends July 2013.
I love that it isn't just the "normal school year" but rather covers all the dates for random events and school schedules!

The ONLY set back I see?
They have only one page for school classes...
I thought that we changed classes on semesters/quarters, so that would have to be covered up...
Maybe with white out or labels.  I do not think it is that big of a deal, but it is something to consider.
Personally, I would just white out the classes that I originally had... or better yet, I would try and use a pencil and then I could just erase it!

For only $18, I feel this is a great investment for school aged people.
(Even college!)
