Yes, I would LOVE a Date Night to watch #TheLongestRide ( #Recipe )

 Being at the end of your pregnancy in the summer means you want to rest... At least that is what it means to me these days.  I am all about staying in and enjoying movies at home. When we were invited to have a perfect movie night to watch The Longest Ride (Nicholas Sparks, you know how much I love him) I was so excited to be part of this event.  Not only because of Nicholas Sparks, but also because who was I to turn down a date night at home?????
Based on the bestselling novel by master storyteller Sparks, THE LONGEST RIDE centers on the star-crossed love affair between Luke, a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia, a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City’s art world.  As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected connection with Ira, whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple.  Spanning generations and two intertwining love stories, THE LONGEST RIDE explores the challenges and infinite rewards of enduring love.

I will admit that pregnancy brain has me right now, so I am not 100% sure if I read this book or not, although I would be surprised if I haven't read it yet.  That being said, I am going into this movie without knowing the end result, except for the fact that I know I will love it and I am about 99% sure I will shed at least a tear or two during the movie.  (I don't think there is a book or movie by him that hasn't got me teary eyed! Let's just be honest here!) 


Okay, let me quit yapping and get ready to enjoy my date night!!!
