Do your kids like fruits?
Luckily for us, Broxton will try just about anything...
Now, he might not try it the first time we offer it, but over time, he will at least try it.

Whenever we go to visit my parents, he has to ALWAYS help my dad eat his lunch.
My dad...
Oh my dad...
He is so set in his ways.
Typical lunch:
Couple pieces of lettuce (aka his salad)
A little piece of meat of some sort.
A couple grapes.
A fruit cup and then a Popsicle.

Every time he gets to the fruit cup, Broxton has to grab a spoon to help.
To the point that when we come to visit, my dad normally sends Broxton home with a pack of fruit cups!
(Isn't that just the sweetest?!)

When I checked my email the other day, I was smiling to see an email about Del Monte and their new contest: "Teacher Monday: Cash for Classrooms."

What exactly is this contest?
Well, it is an initiative to get teachers to promote healthy eating and living.
Sixty teachers will win!!!!

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.) Finally, he gets to brush them a final minute (no toothpaste.) The system is working and his teeth are clean! During the day, when he wants to brush them.. He can, but with no toothpaste. As we all know, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to take the temperature of a sick child. Hey, some adults are known to be big babies... The longer they have to wait, the fussier they become. Well, with the Exergen Temporal Scanner ... Wait is something that can be eliminated! Why do I say that? Just because the wait is merely 2 seconds! During that time, you will already be finished a gift giveaway blog hop, exergen temporal scanner, mom must have, R nd moving on to something else. I really like the ease of the Exergen Thermometer. It has a soft tip on it that you gently swipe across the forehead of your "patient." There are two things that make this stand out compared to others that I have used.
