Unlock the weird with Ripley's Believe it or not!

Ripley's Believe It or Not Books are always so much fun for everyone. The things that make you cringe, the things that make you gasp... it is always an adventure to look in one of their books and they have done it again with their latest.  I love that we flip through and check it out, but then we donate it to Broxton's school so they can all enjoy it as well!

  • Read about one man’s attempt to take a break from reality, spending three days climbing the Swiss Alps on all fours as a goat!
  • Soar on jetpacks above the deserts of Dubai with breathtaking aerial imagery.
  • Meet Birdman Ted Richards who had his ears removed and his face and eyeballs tattooed to look like his pet parrots!
  • Savor the flavor of sheep dung spitting, an Irish event that is just as unappetizing as it sounds!
  • See double with Twin Strangers’s Niamh Geaney, who has found multiple doppelgängers that look exactly like her!

The great thing about Ripley's books?  If you have someone that "doesn't like" to read, they will see the pictures and then the curiosity gets them. They will then start reading because they want to learn more about each thing!!!!

Broxton actually took the book for a road trip because he couldn't put it down, he was so into it! Another great thing? You don't have to read in order... you can flip around and go back and forth!!!!!

ARTIST ERIC MILLIKIN USED OVER 1,000 MINIATURE BAGS OF M&MS TO CREATE THIS POP CULTURE PORTRAIT OF COUNT CHOCULA.

Make sure you grab a book so you and your family can UNLOCK THE WEIRD!!!!

  1. I got this to review as well. Isaak's getting it. Mica's getting a book on Spelling Bees and a magazine on Pink Floyd. He listens to Pink Floyd in Travis' car and loves it.

  2. Pretty sure I wouldn't tattoo my eyeballs. What if you changed your mind later, lol. The kids would love this book here too, even my grown ones. ;)
