When the book fair came to Broxton's school, I learned of a new (to me) character... Splat the Cat.
Now, I had never heard of Splat, but Broxton was all to familiar!
I was recently able to review Merry Christmas, Splat from Scholastic and Broxton was pretty excited!
Merry Christmas, Splat is a Read Along DVD with 4 stories on there...
Merry Christmas, Splat (written and illustrated by Rob Scotton, narrated by John Keating): Splat is trying hard to be good before Santa's arrival so he can get all the presents he's dreamed of onChristmas Day!
Fletcher and the Snowflake Christmas (written by Julia Rawlinson, illustrated by Tiphanie Beeke, narrated by Katherine Kellgren): It'sChristmas Eve and Fletcher wonders how Santa will find his burrow through all the snow.
Snowflake Bentley (written by Jacqueline Briggs Martin, illustrated by Mary Azarian, narrated by Sean Astin): Willie Bentley loved and learned all about snowflakes.
Owl Moon (written and narrated by Jane Yolen, illustrated by John Schoenherr): A girl and her father search the moonlit woods for the Great Horned Owl in this carefully animated adaptation of a classic children's picture book.

ReplyDeleteSplat the Cat is new to me, and the kids always have books they bring home but never seen it until recently, I would gift this to one of our little ones.
ReplyDeleteThis would be for my oldest grandson, and no, I've never heard of Splat before!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of Splat, but he's got the same mindset as my kiddos. My youngest was washing walls the other day, so Santa would think highly of him, hahahahaha. Have at it, kiddo. :)
